BLUs Sharks u14s
A very wet day up at Larkhall where at times it felt like we were in the clouds, full of fog and Mist. Weather never deters the Sharks and the girls went out and smashed it with a comfortable 6-0 win.
Girls started off in a low gear to adjust to the weather and the narrow pitch but soon found there flow. Isla popping up with her usual goals that leave both coaches and parents speechless. With some great play on the wings crosses were coming in constantly giving summer and Liz the chance to follow up on rebounds. Martha got in on the action with a perfectly placed shot that made the rain a lot more bearable.
Scarlett had a chance to add to the score line and a few inches lower would have been in contention for goal of the season (only the second game in).
special mention to the defence who kept a clean sheet and our future England number 1 Poppy in goal, throwing herself at anything that came her way.
2nd game in and the Sharks are up and running.
